BISHKEK, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Acting President of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov signed a decree to terminate Sadyr Zhaparov's power as prime minister, said the press service of the Kyrgyz president.
Due to the official results of early presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan, Zhaparov submitted an application to step down from the office of the prime minister along with the rest of the government.
The decree said that all members of the current government will fulfill their duties until the formation of a new cabinet of ministers.
Earlier Zhaparov resigned as acting president of the country, and also suspended the office of the prime minister to participate in the country's early presidential election.
Zhaparov won the early presidential election on Jan. 10, capturing 79.2 percent of the votes.
The inauguration of the newly elected president will take place on Jan. 28.
