Springbok lock Franco Mostert is reportedly set to say goodbye to English club Gloucester.
Rapport newspaper exclusively reported on Sunday that Mostert has signed a four-year deal with the Honda Heat in Japan.
He will be a direct replacement for another Springbok lock, RG Snyman, who has signed for Irish club Munster.
It will be the 29-year-old's second stint in Japan, having earlier represented the Ricoh Black Rams.
The 2019 World Cup winner made a name for himself in Super Rugby at the Lions between 2014 and 2018, before heading for Gloucester.
He played for the Ricoh Black Rams between 2016 and 2018 during the Lions' Currie Cup campaigns.
