Flash floods from heavy rains in central Vietnam this month have killed at least seven people.

Government sources have said three provinces, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai, have been especially hard hit, with tens of thousands of homes submerged under water by the weekend.

The Government's Flood and Storm Control Committee have warned of more flash floods and landslides and have ordered the evacuation of homes.
